code of ethics
Code of EthicsIntroduction | Board of Trustees | Campus | Code of Ethics | Community | Directions | History | NCSSS / MST | On-Site Tours | Philosophy | The MSSM Foundation Each member of the MSSM community is expected to act with honor and integrity in every facet of academic and residential life. Every member benefits from the self-respect and pride of living in an environment of honorable people whose focus is learning. Individuals within the community are obligated to invoke a personal responsibility and insist upon a similar manner of conduct from others. Certain actions are considered a breach of this mutual trust inherent within the system. As an Employee, I will: --Take into honest consideration the opinions of fellow MSSM employees. --Participate honestly in activities, which contribute to the mission of the school. --Accept the responsibility to remind others to adhere to this code and report any breach of it to an MSSM employee. As an Employee, I will not: --Interfere with the duties of other MSSM employees. --Discuss confidential matters to which I might be privileged. Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics on April 18, 1997. |
