The Maine School of Science and Mathematics is located in a rural area of northern Aroostook County, Maine (approximately 5 hours north of Portland).

The MSSM shares facilities, sports teams, and other extra-curricular activities with the Limestone Community School, which serves 325 students in grades K-12.
