Academics Curriculum Outline

Our goal is to offer intense learning in the areas of mathematics, science, and humanities.

MSSM Graduation Requirements:

• 4 credits in Mathematics
• 4 credits in Science to include:                                    
  
• Biology w/lab                                                                         Chemistry  w/lab                                                                      Physics w/lab
• 4 credits in English to include:                                        
  
• MSSM Composition and Research or  MSSM                   English Language and Composition
• 2 credits in Social Science to include:                                     1full year of United States History and 1 elective
  
• 2 credits in Foreign Language (must be the same foreign language)
• 1 credit in Fine Arts
• 1 J -Term credit each year at MSSM
• 1 Recreation credit each year at MSSM
• 1 Work Assignment credit each year at MSSM
• 1/2 credit Junior Seminar
• 1/2 credit Senior Seminar
• 1/2 credit MSSM Technology( beginning with the class of 2011)
  

Some of these credits may be met by coursework from a student's sending school.
