Bio
Miss Baker is a native New Englander from Coventry, Vermont. She graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BA in English with a Creative Writing focus and Art History in 2004. While at St. Lawrence University, Miss Baker was awarded a Tanner Fellowship for creative writing and served as the editor of both the university newspaper and literary magazine. Miss Baker attended Oregon State University's MFA Creative Writing Program in Corvallis, Oregon, where she completed her thesis, a novel, Winter Ocean, and graduated in 2006. While at Oregon State, Miss Baker taught composition and creative writing. After graduating she continued to teach at OSU for a year as an instructor, offering courses in creative writing and business writing.
Miss Baker's hobbies include snowshoeing, cross country skiing, reading, writing, and photography.
