Bio
Stefan Dreisbach-Williams was born in New York City and raised in Pennsylvania. He earned a BA in Theatre Arts from Earlham College in Richmond, IN then spent three years working in and out of theatre in Pennsylvania, New York and Oxford, UK before completing an MA in Theatre Education at Emerson College in Boston. His acting studies have run the gamut from Sanford Meisner and Michael Chekhov to Jacques Lecoq and Antonin Artaud. His significant theatrical associations have included Touchstone Theatre, Hedgerow Theatre, DadaNY, The Living Theatre, Bread and Puppet Theatre and Great Small Works. His other interests include photography, sculpture, writing and music.
In June 2007, he participated in the Malta International Theatre Festival in Poznan, Poland where The Living Theatre performed Mysteries and Smaller Pieces. Stefan joined the MSSM staff as an RI in 2006. His classes have included a collective theatre J-term, Theatre: Observation, Analysis and Application, Theatre: Text Analysis and Design and Public Speaking and Production.
