Bio
Amy Coddington hails from Eugene, Oregon and graduated from Macalester College in May 2008 with degrees in both mathematics and music. At
Macalester, she participated in the all-female a cappella group as well as the choir and orchestra and was an accompanist and manager for
the choir. She also worked as the music director for a small Unitarian Universalist fellowship and has had the pleasure of teaching a kindergarten class for the past three years. Most summers Amy has spent in Los Angeles, doing research on earthquakes at the Southern California Earthquake Center, most recently completing her mathematics
thesis on the distribution of earthquake magnitude errors. She also completed an honors thesis in music on the songs of Aimee Mann. In her spare time, Amy likes to play an assortment of instruments, listen to music loudly while driving around, hike and enjoy the outdoors, and cook and eat delicious food.
