Bio
Mrs. Daigle-Gerrish was born and raised in Fort Kent, Maine. Following graduation from the University of Maine at Fort Kent with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing and French, she settled in Portland, Maine working for several years in the field of business as a partner/manager of the Maine Candle Company and as a marketing/leasing representative for a property development organization.
In 2000, Sharon, a native French speaker with a strong Acadian heritage, decided to return to the County to raise her family and pursue her passion of becoming a French teacher. While earning her teacher certification credentials she worked in the marketing department at Stantec Consulting, Inc., an international engineering firm with an office in Presque Isle, Maine.
