  Allie, a recent graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, is thrilled to be staying in Vacationland. Earning her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, Allie designed her own major combining Psychology and Education, while also obtaining her teaching certification in Social Studies. No stranger to high school students, Allie spent her senior year student teaching at Poland Regional High School and headed a mentoring group of high school girls who came biweekly to Bates. As a member of the Bates Women's Club Hockey Team, Allie traveled to the National tournament in March 2008 where her team took home the 3rd place trophy. During her time at Bates, Allie also worked for two years as Junior Advisor on the Residential Life staff. In this role, Allie had the responsibility of planning activities and educational programs for a group of 18 First Year Students while simultaneously creating a fun and comfortable living atmosphere for her residents.

  Growing up in Nashua, New Hampshire, as the middle of three children, Allie has spent her last 12 summers at Camp Nellie Huckins in Freedom, New Hampshire. First a camper and then a counselor, Allie simply loves her Huckins family and has more recently worked as Program Director and Sports Field Director. Some of Allie's other non-academic interests include running, crafting, playing with her Wii, reading, and watching her two favorite shows: TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8 and Bravo's Project Runway. Additionally, Allie is a proud member of Red Sox Nation, and also is an avid fan of the Boston Celtics!
