Bio
Mr. Melega grew up in Easthampton, Massachusetts. In 2007, he graduated with a BA in Government and History from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. While there, Mr. Melega was active in a variety of student organizations and much of his academic work focused on the American political process with special attention given to the presidential selection process. Following graduation, Mr. Melega worked at Colby College for a year overseeing college housing. He spent his last year teaching US History and US Government & Economics in northern Vermont.
Mr. Melega loves northern New England and considers himself to be a bit of a local geography buff on the area. He enjoys traveling throughout the region, spending time outdoors, and playing a wide variety of sports. On Sundays in the fall, he can usually be found near a television watching the New England Patriots. Mr. Melega also enjoys watching movies, reading, and writing.
