Gregory S. Reed, serves as an adjunct Spanish Instructor at Maine School of Science and Mathematics. He has worked in this position since 2004.
During his personal time, Greg specializes in providing information and advocacy for the Hispanic Community in Aroostook County. Information can include referrals, interpretation or translation services and outreach work. The majority of the Hispanic Community in Aroostook County are temporary workers that arrive to work for local farmers during the months of April to October, as "broccoli harvesters" or in forestry industry as "brush cutters". These workers arrive with temporary or permanent visas, such as resident aliens, H-2 Agricultural workers, H-2B Forestry workers, or temporary protection status.
Greg earned a BA degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, majoring in criminal justice, he also has an AS degree as a paralegal. Greg resides in Presque Isle with his wife and their passion is to serve the poor, underprivileged migrant workers in Northern Maine.
