Bio
Ms. Catherine Reilly, a native of Bar Harbor, Maine, was among the pioneering students who first arrived in Limestone in the fall of 1995. She graduated from MSSM two years later and went on to study economics at Loyola College in Maryland, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), and Fordham University. After traipsing around the globe and bicycling down the West Coast, she returned to Maine in 2003 and began her professional career as a research assistant at the Margaret Chase Smith Center at the University of Maine.
In 2005 Ms. Reilly became Maine’s State Economist. In that role, she managed a small team of researchers at the State Planning Office that provides information and policy analysis to Maine’s governor and legislature. She also served on the state’s Revenue Forecasting Committee and the advisory board of the New England Public Policy Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
Ms. Reilly has returned to MSSM for the 2009-2010 school year to serve as Director of External Relations during the search for a new Executive Director. She is thrilled to be back.
