Bio
Mr. Rogers is originally from Gouverneur, New York. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BA in English with a Creative Writing focus and History in 2003. Mr. Rogers was a Regents Scholar, an Augsbury North Country Scholar and a Harry Reiff History Scholar while attending St. Lawrence. He was also an avid athlete; he competed for the university's cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams and played for the university's rugby club.
Since graduating, Mr. Rogers has pursued a variety of interests. He spent much of the last three years working in the Oregon lumber industry while attending Oregon State University as a part time student. Mr. Rogers also worked as a correspondent for a local newspaper, The Commuter, and won an Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association Award for Best Writing in 2006.
Mr. Rogers' hobbies include: running, reading, writing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
