Bio
Mr. Warner grew up in northern New Hampshire where he graduated from Tilton School. He began his college career at Gettysburg College. After two years, he transferred to Plymouth State University where he earned a BA, magna cum laude, in Interdisciplinary Studies. He also holds an MALS from Wesleyan University.
Mr. Warner has worked in independent schools for over 25 years, serving in many roles. Prior to his arrival at the MSSM, he held the position of Assistant Headmaster for Curriculum and Instruction in Baton Rouge, LA, where he was responsible for faculty hiring, evaluation, and professional development; curriculum oversight; and coordination of technology, libraries, and other forms of instructional support. As a faculty member of various residential schools across the country, he has taught chemistry, served as science department head, coached athletics, coordinated activities, and served as dorm master. In addition, he has directed summer programs and assisted with college counseling.
In his free time, Mr. Warner enjoys spending time with his wife, Laurie, golfing, skiing, hiking, and traveling. He and his wife have four children and two grandchildren. They share their home with their four cats and their border collie, Maggie.
