Social Science

Traditional:

Our Social Science department aims to broaden the world of our students by exposing them not only to the history and political system of the United States, but to the social structures, traditions, customs, and stories of the larger world in which they will live. To this end we feature classic courses like AP Psychology, AP European History, and United States History, as well as recently introduced semester-length courses in United States Government, Sociology, Anthropology, and Economics.

Experiential:

Social Science faculty are responsible for our “Youth in Government” and Debate programs, and our multi-disciplinary J-Term course “Learning to Love Limestone in Winter” is based in this department as well.
