Mr. Warner's Farewell

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the Board of Trustees for the opportunity to serve the Maine School of Science and Mathematics for the past four years. It has been my honor and privilege to work with dedicated, caring board members, wonderful students and a dedicated and talented faculty. The founders of the school, along with members of the Maine State Legislature, are to be commended for having the vision and determination to provide such a marvelous educational opportunity for deserving youngsters from Maine and beyond.

Laurie and I treasure the wonderful friendships and opportunities coming to Maine has provided for us. However, as the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end”. It is with a sense of pride and satisfaction for having had the privilege of serving the MSSM Community but also with a sense of sadness for the all wonderful people we will dearly miss, that I write this letter of resignation, effective June 30, 2009.

Please accept Laurie’s and my heartfelt best wishes to the entire MSSM Community and rest assured that MSSM will always occupy a very special place in our hearts.
