Congratulations to our students for their high scores in the recent American Mathematics Competition (AMC). We had some students tie, so we have 4 students for the top three in each. The AMC program is more than just a competition; it’s a national effort to strengthen the mathematical capabilities of our next generation of innovators. By challenging students with engaging problems, the AMC sets the stage for lifelong mathematical exploration, discovery, and achievement.
Each test includes 25 multiple-choice questions completed in 75 minutes and is offered in two versions, A and B. The AMC 10 is designed for students in grade 10 and below. The AMC 12 covers the broader high school curriculum for students up to grade 12. Both contests run each November and serve as the first step toward qualifying for advanced national and international math opportunities, including the path to the USA Mathematical Olympiad.
