Boarding Weekends

Boarding Weekends

Boarding school weekends are more than downtime. Weekends are the heartbeat of campus life. At MSSM, we encourage our students to stay on campus and be members of the community. Led by Residential Instructors (RIs) and faculty, weekends are a mix of fun, relaxation, and bonding.

A typical weekend can be spent attending a student senate session, a club meeting, or a fun dorm event. Some hit the streets off-campus to shop or eat in a nearby town, while others visit the local cinema. In the dorm, the lower lounge gets taken over and set up like a movie theater for a movie night, with an abundance of snacks, including popcorn.

Of course, the fun is far from over. Students can be found playing floor hockey, basketball, or even staging an ad hoc NERF war. On cool nights, a campfire is the gathering place, where friends exchange stories, roast marshmallows, and enjoy the simple pleasure of one another's presence.

Weekends spent at MSSM are not about "getting away." They are about creating stronger bonds, building lasting memories, and making campus feel like home.
