Celebrating Fall Athletes

During the November 14th All School Meeting, MSSM celebrated the Fall Athletics Awards, recognizing standout athletes from the season. Athletic Director Cyndi Trapnell led the event, while each coach presented the awards, sharing thoughtful reflections on the recipients' contributions and growth.

For Cross Country, coach Mariah Havens honored Ben Uhlenhake as Most Valuable Runner for his outstanding performance as well as how he helped other new runners. Rafi Halpern as Most Improved Runner and this was Rafi's first high school varsity event. Ethan Young was also honored for being selected as Aroostook League All Stars.

In Girls Soccer, captains Aubrey Ainsworth, Elliot Dooley, and Quinn Daly presented their Award to Geraghty Smith. The Most Valuable Player went to Mia Shaw, and Most Improved to Aerie Yin.

Boys Soccer coach Lucas Hafford had captains Niko Theriault, Luke Ingalls, Josh Smith, and Lochlan O'Connor present Mark Hopkins with the Captains Award. Coach Hafford presented Niko Theriault with the MVP award, and Abhi Reddy as Most Improved Player.

The event highlighted the dedication and achievements of MSSM’s student-athletes, inspiring the school community to applaud their efforts.
