Club Day

Club Day

Our first weekend after classes was packed with fun and community spirit. Since the weather didn’t cooperate, Field Day moved indoors to the dorm and dorm gym, but that didn’t stop anyone from having a blast. Students bounced their way through a house and giant slide, tried their aim at cornhole, and enjoyed treats like snow cones, popcorn, and cotton candy (special thanks to David Martin for loaning us his machine!).

After dinner, the energy shifted to the gym for our Club Fair. Tables filled the space as every club showcased what they’re about, from academic teams to student-led interest groups. Sign-up sheets quickly filled with names as students explored new opportunities. One student summed it up perfectly:
“I like being in clubs because I can hang out with other like-minded students and there is also leadership experience. Plus we do volunteering and give back to the community.”

The year is off to an exciting start, and we can’t wait to see all the things our Penguins will accomplish together.
