Everyone has a great attitude and is excited to compete against their fellow classmates.
Our intramural basketball season is underway with four student-led teams captained by Jarod, Finn, Jud, and Madison. Each team has six players. Students chose basketball as the next intramural activity through a vote, where it won with 25 percent of the total. The captains were selected through a random draw, which gave new students a chance to step into leadership roles they might not experience in other sports. After the first game, we made a few small roster adjustments, and the season will continue for the next few weeks. Players bring strong energy to the court, and you can feel the excitement from classmates who gather on the stage to watch. Others pitch in by refereeing or running the scoreboard. Intramural Coordinator, Jonathan McEndarfer, said, “Everyone has a great attitude and is excited to compete against their fellow classmates.”
