J-Term Finale

J-Term Presentation Day wrapped up on Monday, Feb 9th. January Term, nicknamed J-Term, gives students ten days to step away from the usual schedule and focus on one course, project, or off-campus internship. It’s a big part of the MSSM experience.

Students who completed internships gave two 10-minute talks while two faculty members scored each presentation using a rubric and took notes. Students who traveled during J-Term shared longer presentations with the whole school in the auditorium.

And the "Science. Fiction. Boat" class ended the day with an in-pool test. Their boat floated while classmates explained the research behind their designs.
