The first week of camp is off to a great start. Campers have jumped into their classes and hands-on activities with energy and curiosity.
In Chemistry, they experimented with controlled explosions using plastic bags. In Density and Cells, they created acrylic art inspired by cell structures. Amusement Park Engineering featured a spinning ride that quickly earned the nickname “Vomitron.”
Beyond the classroom, campers have taken on fun challenges during Taskmaster, including finding the longest blade of grass. We’ve celebrated a birthday with cake, explored the stars at the Francis Malcolm Science Center, and relaxed with a movie night.
Tournaments are underway, with a few winners already crowned. More fun is just around the corner with theme nights and the talent show coming up.
