Unscripted Hour

There were many great acts at Open Mic this semester, and everyone did a fantastic job at helping to prepare and make sure each act was performance ready! We had a variety of performances, from singing/playing guitar to contortion. Organizing Open Mic was enjoyable as well. I was able to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes of an event such as this.

Students filled the auditorium on a Friday for a night of dance, comedy, and music that gave everyone a break from the rush of the semester. While some VEX Robotics teams were off campus, most everyone was here for Open Mic night. The show moved fast, with students sharing short performances that kept the crowd engaged. The night wrapped up with improv, which brought quick reactions, loud laughs, and plenty of surprises. It was relaxed and easy to enjoy, and gave students a place to unwind before heading into finals.
