We had a recent adventure to Grand Falls, Canada, where our students got to experience the thrill of Zip Zag ziplining on September 3rd. Led by Ms. Havens and Mr. Gendreau, a group of 10 students crossed the border for an unforgettable day packed with adrenaline and camaraderie.

We're thrilled to announce that Madison Albert, MSSM ('20), has been named a Goldwater Scholar! Madison is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University.

In the first class of Outdoor Education, instructor Jonathan McEndarfer led students through the essential skill of fire-building. The hands-on experience took place near the campfire for safety, after students went to the woods and were tasked with sourcing their own materials for the assignment. An intriguing twist to the exercise was the employment of a Magnesium Striker, a more demanding method compared to conventional matches.

MSSM's Field Day was an absolute blast! The day kicked off with a hearty breakfast and a briefing from Mr. Primiano about our new advisory plan for the year. It's all about taking your student experience to the next level.
