MSSM Creative Robotics

In Dr. Hamlin's CIS 214 Creative Robotics class students learn to combine technology and creativity by using Arduino microcontrollers with electronic sensors and actuators. Using these skills along with the tools and materials of MSSM’s Makerspace, the students will design and implement one or more projects ranging from the practical to the whimsical. In this class they are using accelerometers as sensors and learning to control the output in various ways. Most are using LED strips and working to have them change colors depending on the way the board is tilted.
