MSSM-Limestone Solar

On Sunday morning some MSSM staff, students, and community members went to Loring AFB for maintenance on the dual-axis solar panel array that is co-owned by MSSM and the Town of Limestone. Two units needed their power trackers repaired which took about 3 hours. The easiest way to do this, believe it or not, is to replace the older one with a refurbished tracker and virtually disassemble the entire unit. This was a great hands-on experience for the two engineering students, Charlie and Aaron who were willing to wake up at 7AM on a Sunday.
