MSSM Spanish

Students in Señora Carson's Spanish classes recently decided to give back to the community and met with the principal of Limestone Community School (LCS). Following their meeting, the students planned a time during Friday recess for a brief introduction to Spanish culture and language for students in grades 1-4 at LCS. The LCS students were eager to learn and even agreed to forego their Friday recess time for this opportunity. Seniors Shelby Carson and Bella Fernandez followed the guidelines of a program called Hablamos Español. They taught the alphabet and practiced letter pronunciation in this first lesson, then played a special Scrabble game with Spanish letters. This will be a weekly Friday lesson.
