Spring Ski
On April 14th Mr. Tasker's PE class wrapped up the winter portion of their course with a Spring ski in blinding sun at the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge. During this phase we got very familiar with the various sorts of snow we get here, the weather systems that produce it, and how best to move on it. After April break we shift back to bicycles for the duration, so the topics will shift from whiteout navigation and proper waxing to gear ratios and rolling resistance. We will also shift our focus from Limestone to Caswell, our beautiful neighbor to the North, so stay tuned for pictures of plucky Penguins peddling their way through Spring under our huge northern sky.
