With an emphasis on experiential, hands-on, lab-based programming, MSSM’s Science Department prepares students with a core background in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Students learn to think like scientists with a problem-based approach through diverse electives in Geology, Ecology, Genetics, Engineering, Meteorology, and much more.
Computer Science
MSSM provides students with a broad range of elective classes and clubs in the areas of computer science and robotics. With a fully equipped Makerspace, MSSM students have the tools and materials for class-related and personal projects. With an emphasis on exploration and play, MSSM students learn app, web, and game development, introduction to programming, robotics, and more
