Technology

The MSSM IT Department is focused on making sure students and staff have access to and support for the resources they need in and out of the classroom to ensure a seamless educational experience.

MSSM’s technology staff support all the information and technology needs for MSSM students and staff, including support for and maintenance of MSSM’s high-speed network in the classroom building and dorm; cameras, projectors, and screens in the classroom; and access to various software to help support student learning.

MSSM is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) campus, meaning that students can choose which device to bring along to assist with their learning. Students and faculty at MSSM use Google’s Educational Suite of products (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc) which allows students and teachers to work across multiple platforms. Students at MSSM may use chromebooks, tablets, laptops, and desktops and run multiple operating systems.

A key goal of the IT Department at MSSM is to ensure that the technology hardware and software supports the needs of students and staff. While much of this work is done “behind the scenes” – our staff is always there to help students work through problems and fund solutions.
