So This Happened at MSSM!

Hello MSSM Community!

The first real heavy snow of the year has fallen in Limestone. The semester is almost over, and students are anxiously awaiting the beginning of Christmas break. Last Sunday, MSSM took part in Study Day. During this time, students must be on campus between 12:30 and 4:30, preferably preparing for their midterms.

Greetings Students and Staff,

In November,  fifteen MSSM students traveled to the State House in Augusta to participate in Youth in Government (YIG). In addition to experiencing and participating in parliamentary procedure and debate in the House and Senate including ten leadership roles, their accomplishments included the passage of six MSSM submitted YIG bills. Well done!

Hello MSSM Community!

This weekend at MSSM, the student senate held a Halloween Dance. Before the dance, the students paraded through the Lower Lounge for a costume contest. Highlights of the costume parade included Struck by Lightning (lightning and the person struck by lightning), Cosmo and Wanda from the The Fairly Oddparents, and the Kool Aid Man.

Greetings All!
And break begins!  For those of you who were able to attend, we hope you found parent conferences to be useful and informative and that you will all enjoy a much deserved respite. Many thanks to Mrs. Farley for scheduling the individual parent/teacher conferences and accommodating the changing needs of students and families.

Greetings to all!

Progress reports are available as of today. The best way for students and families to view these is to go to the "Reports" tab and select "Fall Progress Report". This will generate a pdf document which includes each class and the accompanying comments.  Keep in mind that this serves as a check to see how students are doing at a point in the semester.

On Thursday and Friday of last week (September 21 & 22), students in Dr. Helana Brigman’s AP language and Composition took part in a Murder Mystery. Students were personally invited by Dr. Brigman with a fancy invitation that explained when and where to be on Thursday, as well as the student’s character name and preferred attire. Many took the opportunity to dress up and really get into the part.
