STEM Educators' Camp


Join us in the Summer of 2020

Maine School of Science and Mathematics will be hosting its fourth STEM Educator's Camp. This is designed for educators across Maine who are interested in improving their teaching in science, technology, engineering and mathematics STEM.

STEM educators will be able to attend different workshops to improve their teaching practices and content knowledge. In addition, there will be time each day for educators to debrief, collaborate and plan together. We hope to encourage Maine STEM educators to share their passions and talents with one another and form a community invested in improving student learning and teaching. Any STEM educator, administrator, or interdisciplinary member may join.

Cost: $100 for Maine Educators. All inclusive.

Who?: Maine STEM Educators, grades 3-12.

Where: At the Maine School of Science and Mathematics in Limestone, ME.

Program: STEM focused with a balance between keynote presentation and hand on workshops.

Continuing Education Credits?: 18 contact hours. Certificate of Participation.

Your School?: Be prepared to share STEM related initiatives and exciting developments at your school.

Mission:

The mission of the MSSM Educators’ Camp is to provide opportunities for STEM educators and professionals to network and collaborate. The ultimate goal of this networking is to bring interconnected STEM curriculum and contemporary and meaningful STEM teaching and learning opportunities to students across Maine.
